The construction, layer by layer
Bouclé fabric — 35,000 Martindale cycles
The layer you touch. The Martindale test measures the number of rubbing cycles a fabric withstands before deterioration: 35,000 cycles correspond to intensive domestic use.
Quilted padding
Between the fabric and the foam. This layer gives the seat its immediate softness before the foam takes over.

The heart of the seat. High resilience means it fully regains its volume after each compression, year after year.
